My suggestion to all sysops: Focus on making apps for the Google Play Store

Why leave it up to thew sysops? This should be up to the developer of
the bbs software itself to do this, IMHO,

It would be cool if they did that, but app stores like Google Play Store have strict rules about what they refer to as "user generated content" and I don't think it would work out.

I'd think all apps submitted would be subject to the same guidelines for being allowed in the Google Play store, no matter who makes the app. And what would "user generated content" mean in the context of a mobile app?

They're referring to apps that allow users to post text, images, videos, etc. IOW apps that can facilitate communication.

One of the "strict rules" that I was referring to is they require developers to create a button for users to click to report "abuse." And of course they have their own definition of that word itself.

If a developer is on board with everything that Google is on board with, then they'll have no problems.
